The former president's Granddaughter Gets Professional Advice from Golf Legend Woods Ahead of Professional Golf Debut

Emerging athlete preparing for major tournament

The rising star boasts substantial online following

Kai Trump can count on plenty of high-profile backers when she makes her professional golf debut this Thursday.

The 18-year-old athlete, who is related to Donald Trump, was granted a tournament invitation to compete at Florida's Annika event in Florida.

The former president, a passionate golfer, owns numerous courses worldwide and often plays against his granddaughter.

"He's pretty good. I can't say much but we play competitive games," she revealed.

Kai explained that Trump, who cannot attend, counseled her: "Simply avoid anxiety."

"My grandpa basically suggested to go out there and enjoy myself," she continued.

"In my eyes, he's simply an ordinary family member. He's not attending this weekend. He's occupied with world affairs, making him somewhat preoccupied."

While still amateur, Kai has competed in only three events this year and maintains position 461 in AJGA rankings.

However she's able to receive tips from 15-time major champion, in a relationship with her mother.

"He stands as the greatest golfer worldwide," Kai expressed.

"And he's a superior human being. He suggested me to compete, have fun, adapting to whatever happens."

Kai will face some of the biggest names in women's golf at the Annika, featuring world number two Nelly Korda, England's golfer Hull, professional Thompson and 2023 champion champion Vu.

The LPGA stated that involving Kai helps introduce the sport to different demographics, particularly with the next generation.

Kai has a massive following and just introduced an exclusive clothing and lifestyle company.

She begins at late afternoon GMT.
